The NITRAM Liquid Charcoal is water soluble with a thick consistency of oil paint allows the artist to achieve values from very light to a deep rich black. It gives an ability to paint with charcoal and produce varied and textured sketch effects and can be applied with a brush or even palette knife.

NITRAM Liquid Charcoal has an excellent lightfastness rating of 1 and conforms to ASTM D-4236.
