Marabu Porcelain Paint is impressive, high-gloss, brilliant, odourless, lightfast, water-based porcelain, and ceramic paint for painting on porcelain and glass. This highly pigmented, medium viscosity paint is designed for glazed and unglazed ceramics, but it also works on glass, Plexiglas, vinyl, and polypropylene.

Application –

It is recommended to use soft natural or natural/synthetic fibre brushes for application. Also, Pre-cleaning of crockery is important, and the best possible result can be achieved using a scouring agent and a small sponge. Afterwards, they should be wiped with Marabu cleaner & thinner or white spirit to remove any fingerprints. Rinse off Cleaner residues thoroughly with clear water before you start painting. It’s also recommended to stir paint well as colour pigments settle in the jar – Do not Shake. Do not use water to thin paint as Diluting the with water will change the properties of the Porcelain paints. The designs would not be guaranteed to be dishwasher-safe after drying.

Drying and Heat Setting -

Marabu Porcelain Paint is easy to paint with, colours mix well together and are dishwasher safe without oven fixing. Simply paint and let it dry for 3 days. To speed up the drying process the objects can air dry for one hour then drying it in an oven heated to 100 °C for 30 minutes. When used together with Porcelain & Glass Painter, both paints can be fired once dried (160 °C/30 min)
