Winsor and Newton Texture gels are suitable for any application in which highly unique surface textures are desired. Texture gels are granular paste gels containing additives to create special textured effects without affecting color stability or permanence. They are ideal for "natural" textures such as landscape paintings and craft applications.

Winsor and Newton Texture Gel ranges from Medium Grain Gel to Glass Beads to Natural Sand, both the fine artist and the craft user of acrylics can rely upon a selection of textures with greater stability than those mixed by the artist in the studio.

Sand Texture Gel – It is a finer and more consistent texture than the pumice in Mineral Texture Gel. Formulated with refined and purified sand to ensure the most interesting possible texture as well as security and durability.

Black Lava Texture Gel – It is granular paste containing fine particles of black flint allowing the artist to achieve a heavier and more pronounced effect than can be achieved with Mineral Texture Gel.

Glass Beads Texture Gel – It is composed of small, spherical glass beads suspended in a thick, clear acrylic gel.

Heavy Structure Gel - Heaviest gel available in the Galeria range. Ideal for creating strong surface texture and very high peak retention.

Structure Gel – It can be added to colour to thicken the consistency of colours, accentuate brush marks and textures in the painting.

Medium Grain Gel - It forms a moderately granular texture. It may be used alone as a clear, textured film, or with added colour. It is formulated to ensure that the texture is evenly distributed.

Large Grain Gel - It forms a more pronounced textural grain effect than the Medium Grain Gel, providing more visible structure and effect to the colour.
