ArtGraf N°1 Graphite Putty is a unique and innovative product by Viarco that gives complete freedom to the artist to shape drawing tools according to specific drawing needs. It is a soft, malleable putty saturated with the graphite that can be constantly re-moulded to draw in new and inventive ways. It can be shaped into a large ball and make big coloured areas for big drawing or shape it into a smaller tool for greater control.

ArtGraf Nº1 can create a wide range of shades and colour contrast through the use of more or less material. Nº1 can be used directly from the package or mixed with water. It is a water-soluble, allowing it to be worked in a multitude of ways to create an endless range of light and dark shades of graphite.

This allows artists to blend, sketch, smudge, create washes and opaque blocks of tone. It can be applied with a wet brush or even rubbed onto a surface. When dry it can be erased or re-wet.

Tip- ArtGraf No 1 Graphite Putty is reusable as if it gets dry, just add water to it depending upon the how malleable required. If it is in state of complete dry, then it is reversible only with addition of water in package itself and wait for 2 -3 days to return it in original condition just like clay.

It is available in a 150g block of putty is supplied in a resealable plastic pouch to keep the putty moist and 450g block of graphite putty supplied in a ceramic pot with cork lid.
