The Heritage Series 4050 is the first synthetic sable hair brush of Princeton. The brush has an enhanced color holding capacity, excellent natural snap, point, and shape retention. It is ideal for watercolours and fluid acrylics. It is excellent for thin or thick strokes.

Featuring a sharp point and crisp edge, it comes in a rich, distinctive gold ferrule and marbleized red hardwood handle. Stiffness 3 on 5.

Flat ferrule, short-length hairs, usually set in a long handle. Width and length of brush head is about equal. Inward curved edge at the tip. Useful for short, controlled strokes, and with thick or heavy color.
