Pebeo Vitrea 160 Glass Paint Marker - Bullet Tip - 1.2 MM
Pebeo Vitrea 160 markers are a new generation of thermo-hardening, transparent, non-toxic, water based markers specifically designed for use on glass. These paint markers can also be used for decorating metal, ceramic, crystal, lamps, vases and even window surfaces. These medium sized markers with bullet tip is ideal for writing, drawing, outlining, and highlighting.
The Vitrea 160 markers are availbale in 18 remarkably transparent and bright water based colors for glass, declined in 9 gloss colors and 9 frosted colors; the colors have excellent lightfastness and are wash resistant even if not baked.
The Vitrea 160 range includes 36 Colours in 45 ml bottles - 30 remarkably transparent colours (20 glossy / brilliant colours, 10 frosted colours) and 6 shimmer shades along with 10 Relief Outliners in 20 ml tubes and 18 Colours in markers for magnificent decorations on glass. The frosted Colours allow for an etched glass look.
The paint is tack-free in a few minutes after application and fully dry after a minimum of 24 hours. When fully dry, it may be baked for 40 minutes at 160°C (325°F) in a domestic oven. The markers are wash resistant even after air drying for 72 hours on glass & crystal. Due to application, there may be variation in colour between Vitrea 160 Paints and 160 Markers. Store markers flatwise / horizontal.
Use Vitrea 160 Markers only in conjunction with Vitrea 160 paints, and not with Porcelaine 150 markers or paints. Porcelaine 150 and Vitrea 160 heat set at different temperatures and are not intermixable. Vitrea 160 fixes to the surface at 160°C, while Porcelaine sets at 150°C.
The colors have remarkable resistance to dishwashing and to normal detergents after baking; the vitrea 160 markers are resistant to washing even if not baked. For a better resistance / durability, use dishwasher ECO programme and place in top rack. Only the areas not intended to be put in contact with food must be decorated.
