Pebeo Gedeo Gliding Paste is a water based, transparent, tacky adhesive for thick applications when applying the range of metal leaf sheets, chips and all other products included in the Pbo Mixed Media program. It can be applied to most surfaces like Pbo Liquid Art Panels, glass, canvas, metal, mirror, Plexiglas, plastic, paper, cardboard as well as on jewellery and decorative objects. It adds dimensional high-gloss mirror effects to your creative artworks.

Pebeo Gedeo Gliding Paste can also be applied with a painting knife if desired. It is recommended to anticipate the thickness and coverage of the application according to the desired effect as the paste tends to shrink while drying. Allow to dry until it becomes transparent before covering with a sheet of mirror leaf (coloured side up). Then apply light pressure with fingers to the sheet to transfer the coloured mirror effect, and remove the foil sheet. It is important to wait until the Gilding Paste is completely transparent before applying the mirror leaf (transfer foil). The Gilding Paste, once dry, remains tacky for a long period of time, even days if covered with a plastic wrap. Clean gently by hand with a soft cloth.
