Pebeo Varnish will protect the work and give a uniform protective finish. It is only applied to completely dry surfaces except for Pebeo’s Retouching Varnish. Apply the varnish onto the desired painting. It dries rapidly in about 2 to 3 hours depending on the thickness and the temperature.
Crystal Varnish - Brilliant, very limpid, easy to apply and particularly covering varnish composed of acrylic resin. The fineness of its film and the low level of its reflection make it a varnish that is ideal for giving value to the strongest forms in a work as well as subtle nuances. It has a stronger viscosity than Pebeo Superfine Varnish.
Superfine Picture Varnish - Very transparent, supple and responsive finishing varnish composed of acrylic resin that makes oil colours brilliant and resonant. It holds well on the brush and adds a strong brilliance and durability to even poorer works.
Satin Finish Picture Varnish - Transparent, easy to apply, acid-free, non-yellowing, fast drying varnish composed of acrylic resin and polyethylene wax. It renders a discreet uniform satin finish, between gloss and matt, which allows protecting artworks.
Matt Picture Varnish - Non-yellowing, opalescent, matt finish varnish composed of acrylic resin and polyethylene wax. It renders a fully extended, flexible and indelible garnishing film after application. It performs well, is easy to set down and gives works an even matt finish.
Retouching Varnish - Very fine and discreet varnish composed of acrylic resin. It is used in smaller areas, during painting, to correct coats which sometimes accidentally produce an unwanted matt sheen. It unifies the brilliance and corrects the problem. It is always used in fine coats and gives temporary protection. The varnish will protect the work and give a uniform finish. The thermoplastic film allows the possibility for the eventual restoration of artworks.
