Lana Colour Pastel Paper 45% Cotton - Textured + Smooth 160 GSM
Lana paper mill’s origin dates back to 1590, when it was founded by master paper maker Demenge Harlachol. The current paper mill is set up on the banks of the Muhlwasser in Strasbourg, France. The high-quality water supplied by the deep wells provides optimum conditions to produce excellent paper.
Lana Colour Paper is made of 45% cotton fibres that have been internally and surface sized. This Lana Coloured Paper can also be used for various printing techniques as well as for decorative purposes, and even airbrush. The paper is 160gsm and colours are lightfast and age resistant. The paper offers versatile surface for creation that is slightly textured rough surface on one side and smooth on other. It’s acid-free with an alkaline reserve (except black).
Ideal for use with oil, soft pastel, pencil, ink, chalk, charcoal and book binding also good for watercolour and gouache. These are available in an excellent mix of soft muted tones and greys, with a number of bright colours offering highly versatile range of 37 dyed papers.
