Quill Mounted Mop -
These brushes have long hairs and a natural-shaped tip. They are round versions of the wash brush, made of soft, absorbent hair. It is useful for laying in large areas of water or color, for wetting the surface, for absorbing excess media and the point is extremely useful for creating fine lines.
Round Shape -
Round ferrule. Pointed. Use on point or apply pressure to make thick-to-thin strokes. Detail work or filling large areas depending upon the size of the brush and pressure applied. Watercolour wash effects. Round Pointed brush is ideal for detailed work.
Flat Shape -
Flat ferrule. Wash brush is useful for large broad sweeping strokes. Laying in large areas of water or colour, for wetting the surface, and for absorbing excess media. Perfect for Washes, base coating, applying glazes and finishes.
Liner/ Rigger Shape -
Rounded ferrule, Pointed, narrow brush with hair longer than ordinary liners. Short handles. Useful for delicate lettering, highlighting, outlining, and long continuous strokes. Enhance your painting with detail lines, outlining or fancy borders. Paint should be thinned to an inky consistency so that it flows easily from the brush.
Dagger Shape -
The dagger striper is a unique brush with a fine tip and gradually curving, angled edge. Its name is derived from a sword-like appearance and it is a very popular brush for pin-striping and free hand lettering.
Oval Wash\ Cat's Tongue -
The oval wash has rounded hairs, flat ferrule and produces a soft edge, with no point. Wash brush is useful for large broad sweeping strokes. Laying in large areas of water or colour, for wetting the surface, and for absorbing excess media. Washes, base coating, applying glazes and finishes.
