Mona Lisa Cotton Canvas pad are made with superior quality raw materials to get the best possible effects in oil and acrylic colours. The yarn used for the raw fabric selected contributes greatly on the quality and appearance of the canvas. Mona Lisa acrylic multi-primed canvas forms an ideal surface to accept oil and acrylic paints. The multi-layered canvas ensures maximum resistance to sucking of oil and holds the oil on the surface without slithering. The superior quality binder used prevents from deterioration of the canvas.

Coating - The Mona Lisa canvas is applied with an initial base coat (undercoat) followed by the finishing thin layers to achieve the desired finish. Formulated on the basis of a thermoplastic binder, these layers absorb shocks and deformations of the canvas, limit the risks of crackling and the phenomena of micro cracking.

The 100% Cotton fabric is triple primed with a universal primer, making it ideal for oil, acrylic, tempera, charcoal mixed media painting. Canvas pad is 300 GSM / 8 Oz acid-free, Fungal Resistant, archival canvas is pre-primed.
