Jacquard Versatex Screen Printing Ink
Jacquard Versatex Screen Printing Inks are versatile, ready to use inks ideal for silk screening, stencilling, stamping, block, and mono printing. These semi-transparent water-based inks have a smooth and creamy consistency. All colours are intermixable and can be thinned with water. Though heavily pigmented, Versatex will not change the texture or softness of the fabric being printed.
Versatex inks are super vibrant on light coloured fabrics and papers. The colours mix and overlay beautifully and may be thinned and cleaned with water. These inks will not wrinkle or bleed on paper.
Versatex Metallic ink are ready to use metallic ink to achieve a shimmering affect when exposed to sunlight and reflect when in direct light in night. These inks possess excellent colourfastness. Even though they are made with higher solids content, they will produce a softer hand than many other types of ink. These inks can be printed on both light and dark fabrics. Inks contain glitter and should be mixed well before using.
Versatex Extender – Helps to increase transparency without altering the ink's texture or consistency.
Versatex are the softest ink available for fabric, holds up exceptionally well to washing, making them the inks of choice for many professional textile printers. For permanency and wash fastness, fabrics must be heat-set or use Versatex Fixer additive.
Versatex can be used on all types of fabric, including natural and synthetic fabrics, paper, wood, leather, canvas and more. For best results, use cotton rag papers suitable for serigraphy. Available in 32 vibrant colours in 4 Oz and 8 Oz size.
