Herbin Inks is the oldest and most popular inks. There Calligraphy and speciality inks include rich metallics and shimmering pearlescent inks designed to use with steel nib calligraphy pen, glass or quill pens and brushes. These inks are not for fountain pens.
Herbin Indian Ink contains shellac-type lacquer found in Punjab region of India. It is the darkest and glossiest inks among the J. Herbin’s calligraphy and speciality ink collection. The colours are transparent except for the black colour which is pigmented. It is indelible, resistant to water and most solvents. It can be used with a feather or a brush and becomes shiny when drying. Artists appreciate it for the permanence of colour.
Herbin India Ink (Encre De Chine) is also called China Ink. This collection includes 6 colours in 50 ML glass bottle and Noir (Black) in 250 ML as well. Perfect for all aspects of calligraphy and artistic work.
