Holbein Acryla Gouache is a professional grade gouache made with excellent pigments and water-soluble acrylic resin. It is an opaque, highly pigmented paint that blends and feels like gouache but dries to a permanent, water-resistant velvety-matte finish.
Acryla Gouache moves, reacts, blends, and feels like traditional gum arabic gouache, but has a sturdier paint surface. The paint can be diluted with water while painting to create more delicate washes. It can be use as a base layer, and it will not contaminate over painted layers, as the paint dries water-resistant. It dries quickly and with minimal colour-shift; what you see wet is what you get once the paint has dried.
Acryla Gouache does not have the same fragile surface as traditional gouache made with Gum Arabic because the acrylic paint film is more flexible. It can be mixed with other acrylic or traditional gouaches, as well as with watercolours.
The HAG Range consists of 109 brilliant colours with 20ml and 40ml tubes perfect for artists, illustrators, hobbyist, and carvers alike.
