Escoda Signature Collection Brush Sets - Fabio Cembranelli

Escoda Signature Collection Fabio Cembranelli Set 1 contains size 10, 14 & 18 Ultimo Mop Brushes. Escoda Ultimo Synthetic Squirrel Hair Brushes are an almost perfect imitation of squirrel hair. Thanks to the artificial hair in this Ultimo Tendo Brush series, extraordinary softness and a capacity to retain liquids is achieved which is virtually the same as that found in the natural squirrel hair brushes. This synthetic squirrel hair brush is ideal for watercolours. The short lacquered wood handle offers control for detailed work. The Ultimo series could become a synthetic hair benchmark to gradually replace natural hair in the future.

Set 2 contains 3 short handle brushes, 2 flat Prado brushes & 1 Rigger Prado Brush. Escoda Prado Tame Synthetic Sable Hair Brushes not only imitate the colour of Sable hair, but also its spring, snap and retention / absorption of liquids. Escoda uses high performance, artificial filaments of 3 different diameters and 3 different lengths to ensure that the brushstroke's result is the same as one made of natural hair. The brush is ideal for watercolour and suitable for acrylics, mixed media and oils. The short lacquered wood handle offers control for detailed work. Escoda Prado Tame Synthetic is one of the most valued synthetic fibres, because of its similarity to sable hair.

Fabio Cembranelli - Graduated in Architecture, studied painting and photography in Brazil and continued his studies in Europe and the United States in the 90s. He took part in many exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, where he received many prestigious prizes. Today, he teaches painting techniques in his studio, in art galleries and in workshops all over Brazil and around the world, with his work focused mainly on outdoor painting, observing, and studying nature as a source of inspiration. He is a regular contributor for a variety painting magazine and works as an illustrator for publications in South America. Much of his work can be found in exhibitions and collections all over the world.

The process of designing and creating Escoda Ultimo Tendo brushes in their factory begins and ends with brush artisans. Each brush is meticulously crafted by hand resulting in a brush that will be of service for years to come. A triple crimp (exclusive trademark design for Escoda) is applied to the brush ensuring a fixed ferrule that will remain in place for a lifetime of use. The Ultimo brushes go through a curing process, original to the Escoda company, which consolidates and locks each hair in place creating a permanent brush shape. It also increases the natural spring of the brush and its ability to retain the original form / shape.
