DecoArt Water Marbling Paint are ready-to-use, vibrant acrylics in a dropper tip squeeze bottle that allow colour to be dropped onto the surface of the water with complete control. With these paints, you can make pictures, patterns, and designs directly on the surface of water and transfer them to paper and fabric to produce incredible prints or intricate surfaces for new creations.

Application - Gently shake the paint bottle before use to make sure it is properly mixed. Remove the plastic inner seal from the dropper tip. Hold the bottle 1-2 inches above the water's surface, dropping paint from too high can cause it to sink through the water. Lightly squeeze the bottle to let paint drops fall onto the water. Watch as the drops of colour spread to create shapes

Marbling Magic Medium in a basin of water, then add Water Marbling Acrylics to create delicate and unique designs directly on the water’s surface. With water marbling, no two designs will be alike, the surprise and unique quality of each design is part of the magic and mystique of this ancient art form. Gradually sprinkle Magic Medium into hot water. Ratio: 1 tsp. medium to 2 cups water. For flat objects, make enough to fill your marbling tray to a 1” depth.

Surface Prep - Mix this easy-to-use powder with water and soak fabric or other surfaces in the solution to prep them for water marbling. This helps Water Marbling Acrylics stick to surfaces, allowing for better transference. Use this to prep surfaces like silk scarves, canvas, fabric shoes, and more. Dissolve Marbling Surface Prep into hot water at a ratio of 1.5 tsp of surface prep to 2 cups water. Sponge on or spray with a fine mist in two light coats. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats.
