DecoArt Americana Chalky Finish paint is an ultra-matte paint for home décor and furniture pieces to achieve perfect looks from shabby chic to bohemian modern without any special skills or hours of training. This paint is specially formulated to provide excellent adhesion to wood, metal, laminate, glass, terra cotta, walls, ceramics and more.
Americana Chalky Finish paint is water-based, easy to clean and have a low odour due to low volatile organic compounds. These paints are sandable when dry but could also be distress when wet to give a perfect vintage look. They are Fast-drying, Slight texture, and give matte finish once dry. Ultra-matte sheen that can be quickly customized with different waxes or varnishes that delivers a smooth, soft finish every time. With excellent coverage in one or two coats (One 8 oz. bottle covers 60 sq. ft., on sealed surfaces) the colours are intermixable and easily blend allowing to create a beautiful array of shades. It is easy to use without any priming or preparation required before using unless the surface has a natural stain which may bleed through paint then it is recommended to apply stain blocker/ sealer.
