The depth of colour, buttery consistency, light fastness, opacity/transparency, performance and drying times of Artisan, allow artists to use this range for all oil colour techniques. Permanent Rose is a bright rose violet colour. It is a transparent quinacridone pigment and was introduced in the Winsor & Newton range in the 1950s.
