Pentel Colour Brush Pens are nylon brush tip pens which retain their point / shape and are filled with water-based dye inks which are great for illustration & manga. Pentel colour brush pens come in 18 vibrant colours. The Pentel Colour Brush pens are a portable alternative to drawing inks & brushes.
Pentel Arts brush pens allow artists to create beautiful, vivid, transparent sketches. They are great for water colour effects in your next illustration. Excellent for wet on wet techniques. Also great for lettering & calligraphy. These brush pens are wonderful for writing, illustrating, and drawing.
You can create lighter / blurred colours by touching the tip of the brush pen to water before drawing. Colour gradations can also be created by touching brush tips with each other. Difference in pressure applied while squeezing the ink cartridge will result in variations in ink flow.
The ink is dye-based and water-soluble, however is not lightfast. Ink refills are available in all 18 colours.

Usage Tips –
These brush pens have a red plastic protector between the grip section and the ink cartridge. This protection must be removed before using the pen for the first time. If you are unable to twist the cartridge off from the brush part (clear barrel) of the pen, try twisting in the opposite direction. If the tip becomes dry or cracked, submerge the tip (but not the rest of the pen) in hot water for 60 - 120 seconds
