The MABEF M/22 French Sketch Box Easel is the perfect travel companion. MABEF's French easel combines an easel, sketch box, canvas carrier, and some clever "foldability" into one box. This easel is perfect for field work; watercolour, oil or acrylic painting. It is lightweight and compact, yet solid and durable. Constructed of stain-resistant beech wood and finished with natural oils to enhance the beauty of the wood. The Easel is crafted in the finest tradition of Italian woodworking with brass hardware and a leather handle. The legs can be adjusted to balance the load, even on rough and uneven terrain. Accommodates canvasses up to 87 cm or 34 ¼”. The canvas holder can be adjusted to any angle between vertical and horizontal. The easel has a slide out, tine lined drawer with adjustable metal dividers to customise the compartments for brushes, paints and other supplies. The included wooden palette acts as a cover when the easel is folded up for transport. More storage space is available underneath the drawer. The rear legs attach to the box with 2 strong latches for added durability. Three hooks allow transport of a wet canvas. The Easel weighs just 6 Kgs. Simple Assembly is required.
