Koh-I-Noor Polycolor Artist's Coloured Pencil

Koh-I-Noor Polycolor Artist’s Coloured pencils are premium artist quality coloured pencils ideal for drawing, illustration, sketching, arts, graphics, etc. Koh-I-Noor Hardtmuth was founded by Joseph Hardtmuth in 1790.
Koh-i-noor Polycolor pencil contains special oils in the pencil lead. These oils along with other binders allow the Polycolor pencil to create dense, even strokes without the use of heavy pressure. The 3.8 mm lead diameter is an added artistic value to these pencils allowing for shading with a broad edge, or fine sharpening for detail work. These leads are encased in California Cedar, a renewable resource that is the gold standard for pencil casings. The result is a water-resistant, non-toxic pencil that layers and blends beautifully without a waxy build-up.
Koh-I-Noor Polycolor pencils are available individually and in sets. There are 82 colours in the entire range. Each pencil is 7 mm thick and 175 mm long.
Hardness/ Softness –
These coloured pencils are durable and soft and blends extraordinarily. They work beautifully in delicate layers or in heavy strokes without the necessity of high pressure. Additionally, they can be blended with a blending stump or colourless blender to create a range of effects.
Pigment Saturation –
Koh-I-Noor Polycolor pencils have a high concentration of professional quality pigments. These pigments are highly concentrated and perfectly dispersed throughout the entire Polycolor range. The concentration of pigments is higher than student-grade coloured pencils. Polycolor Pencils are the perfect instrument for the professional artist.
Lightfastness –
Koh-i-noor colored pencils vary in its ability to withstand the light. Polycolor pencils maintain excellent light permanency, creating vibrant, durable pieces of art.
